1. Newton’s Second Law of Motion as given in the Principia is not taught in the textbooks.  F =ma is regarded as equation for second law of motion which was never given by Newton.  F = ma was given by Swiss Leonhard Euler in 1776. But Euler’s name is not associated with F =ma. F =ma is arbitrarily associated with Newton’s Second Law of Motion.
