First Law Paper p.10 

The theme of this paper is that the contents of Newton’s First Law of Motion as GIVEN IN THE Principia (1686) existed earlier in literature in published form.  Aristotle has given the first part of Newton’s First Law of Motion in 350 BC i.e. 2063 years before Newton. The second part of Newton’s First Law of Motion was given by Galileo in 1613 i.e. 73 years before given by Newton in the Principia.
So Newton is the EDITOR and PROPAGATOR of the ideas of Aristotle and Galileo (both are INNOVATORS)
